How Do Porcelain Veneers Work?

Normally, traditional veneers usually require two office visits because it takes time to create them in a lab.
However, we hope to include a single-visit crown protocol in our clinic workflow soon. This would allow us take 3D digital images of your teeth and create your beautiful porcelain veneers in just a single visit. That way we can send you home that same day with the smile of your dreams.
Are Porcelain Veneers Your Best Choice?
Veneers aren’t right for everyone. For example, they’re not a good solution for teeth with excessive decay. In those cases, porcelain crowns are the only alternative. For patients with extremely crooked teeth, I often recommend orthodontic treatment instead of veneers. If minor discoloration is your only issue, a professional whitening may be a better choice.
Porcelain veneers are, however, a quick, durable, and affordable solution for most minor cosmetic issues.
